One of my various writing personae is to be part of Nick Shadow, proprietor of the Midnight Library. A small part. Maybe a thumb or one of his molars. As far as I can tell from the copies the publisher sends me, Nick's oeuvre is currently available in English, Norwegian and now Japanese.My grandfather fought at Kohima. I wonder what he would make of it?
