Eat your heart out Gerry Anderson

I used to think a gull-wing car door would be the ultimate in cool.

No longer.

  1. Wow!

I just didn't realise how archaic car door were till now.

  2. Love it.

    Obvious flaws include:
    1) Getting your arm cut off.
    2) Ease of theft (jump in whilst the door's taking ages to shut).

  3. I'd have said the door closes about as quickly as a normal slam, and there would presumably be a cut off as in automatic windows. And there lies in the problem - a bit of grit making your door pop up and down and up again ...

Plus you're really buggered if the mechanism breaks. And I only hope there's some means of access for the emergency services.

But I still love it too.
